I am using access to fill in a ready printed form in which letters are placed in existing boxes but these boxes are not the same width as any font I've looked at. Is there any way of making the space between two characters larger i.e. spread out the length of any word?

Perhaps you want to replace a single occurence of space with space x 2.

Look for a non-proportional font like Courier. In non-proportional fonts, all characters including the space take up the same amount of horizontal space.
I don't know an easy way of identifying non-proportional fonts.

I looked through the list of fonts and am using Copper Plate Light which seems to be the widest but still not wide enough to cover the spacing. I do realise that I can pass the info a character at a time rather than by text box but that is going to be tedious work.
