chart basic question

I'd like to add a chart in a form base on a query. I created a new form, "inserted chart" from the menu, followed the wizard, but after click on finish, i always got the sample chart with "east, west, north" in the x-axis and "1st quater, 2nd quater...." as data series. What did I miss here?

If you right click in the chart area you will be presented with a list of options one of those should be chart type.

thanks. the chart type was correct. just that I dont know how to put the correct columns to the axises. I already dragged the columns from the table to the axis according to the wizard, but still got the "north, west..." from the sample database.
