Hi all!
I have been having trouble activating the code builder. I am new to Access (use version 2016) and I am getting my head around Microsoft's Inventory Template, which I am slowly modifying to meet the needs of my workplace. The machines at work run databases with a runtime so some of the conversion applications, like to excel are not available. I would like to create a button (Done) and then create VBA code (done) to extract data from a report and save to the desktop of a client. I have tried to enable the button wizard through design but I have no wizard appearing when I place the button. I also cannot get the choose builder menu to appear. (Code, Macro and Expression) I have the latest version of access 2016 and have even installed Access 2010 to double check and I can't work this out. I am feeling pretty defeated. I am sorry if anyone has already dealt with this before but I really need someone's help; if there some setting I have not enabled, a patch I need to apply, etc, etc. Thanks for your time and help.
Happy holiday, Simon :banghead:
