Ok if I sound like I do not know what I am talking about, that would be correct. That is why I am asking here.

So I have this form called frm_UserMaintenance

On The form I have a button

I would like to have an OnClick event that will activate one of the dialogue boxes on the tools menu.

Heres the catch. The menu is not visible and i do not want to make it visible. This makes using sendkeys a non option.

Any ideas????

Which command are you looking to call? Most of them are available from the VB window.
If you start typing DoCmd.RunCommand ac...
the list of available commands will appear. Here are a few:

DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdAboutMicrosoftAccess
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdDatabaseProperties
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdDebugWindow
DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdDesignView

etc, etc

Cool Thanks Dave

One problem the one i want is not there. Possibly because it is an Addin. Any suggestions.

what do you want to do , there are loads of runcommand parameters, or even application.docmd parameters

Access Security Manager

There is an Access Addin call the Access Security Manager. When installed it gives you a one stop place for all items security related. I want to launch it from code because I have disabled all menus and toolbars
