How can i close other open application e.g. MsOutlook using VBA?

Probably your best bet is to go and look at the Knowledge base at http://www.microsoft.com/office/support/searchKB.htm
You'll need to get the handle of the desired window (using the FindWindow() method) then manipulate as required. I tried to find info on actually shutting the window down but couldn't nail it down. Sorry, hope you have better luck than I did.
