Code on Button

I Have a form that has a subform and i would like to open the form using the employee id. The main form shows records of employees in the subform.
i also have a form which has more info for the employees which i would like to open by clicking the command button on the main form when the employee record is highted.

How about simply when clicking a button on the subform record? I assume you have your SubForm in ContinuousForm mode?
