Col/Row Number of ActiveCell

I want to assign the Column and Row number of the active cell of a worksheet to variables (Cnum, Rnum) but I can't find the right syntax
I was thinking it would be something like:
"Cnum = ActiveCell.(This is the part I don't know)

Could somebody enlighten me?
