Hello, I am a student at Harding University. I am a single semester away from graduating with a marketing degree and I taking a summer class next month to begin learning Microsoft Access. I am already very skilled in Excel, and need a new challenge. My goal for joining this forum is to get a head start learning Access before my class begins. I hope to learn Access the same way that I learned Excel. Trial and error and a good forum to help!

Sometimes a lot of experience in Excel can be distracting because data in database tables is not held like in spreadsheets, despite their similar appearance.
Start by reading about Normalization until you thoroughly understand the concept. That is where your course will start too.
