I'm having an issue whereby when I highlight a tab on my form, it blacks out the tab name (see pic). My database was from converted Access 2003. So far, I haven't been able to figure out how to change the color. I tried changing color theme, but it didn't help. Any advice would be GREATLY appreciated.

How have you set:
OfficeButton>AccessOptions>CurrentDatabase>
ApplicationOptions>[Use Window-Themed Controls on Forms]?
...uncheck it.

Thanks for the response. It was unchecked. I checked it to see if it would change anything, but no luck. This is maddening!

It sounds like it is an artifact of your monitor and windows selected object.

Wow...you're right. I use three monitors. I moved my Access window to the other two monitors and didn't have the problem. When I moved it back, the problem came back. I never would have thought of that. Thanks!!!

Monitors running at a resoultion other than their native resolution often produce artifacts. Small text can look hideous with pieces missing out of the characters.
