Columns in a report

Hi , I'm still new in making access database, could you help me in this matter; i am making a report for students and i want to make two(2) columns in my report; is it possible? if it is, can you gave me the codes or direction on how to do it,..,I'm working with it for almost 1 week and still no progress.,
Your help will be much appreciated: and i need to finish it as soon as possible:(

Sure. If you put two field in you report in the detail section you should get two columns.

Maybe you could explain more about what you are after...
 
Thanks. i want to make 2 columns in the details section of my report with the header and footer align in the center of the page.is it possible sir?
 
I'm still not really sure what you mean. You can align the header/footer wherever you like.

When you say two columns in the detail, do you mean two columns of the same field? You can do this by setting the Columns attributes in the page setup for your report. There's an option to set number of columns and then you set whether you want the records to fill horizontally or vertically.

You can use this technique with a subreport so that only the detail has columns and not the whole report.
