Hi all

Is it possible to graph information in a combined graph represented as both line and bar charts? (As you can in excel?)

If so any hints on how to get started?

Cheers!

What I suggest doing is creating a graph on the form where it will reside. Use the wizard to feed it the data that you're interested in, including the information for both the bar and the line. Then, after the graph is displayed, double click on it; this will allow you to edit the graph's data as well as it's layout. To modify one of the series, click on the series in question, and then right click and select 'Chart Type'. Change the type from bar to line, and it should do the trick. The important part here is to just select a single series when you're changing the chart type; it's counterintuitive, but that's how MS set it up.

I have a similar problem and managed to find the solution proposed by tim419762, however I have been unable to resolve formatting issues on the series that I have converted to Lines in my basic Bar Graph. CR2008 insists on putting markers on those lines and won't let me remove them. If I create the graph a basic Line Graph and then convert certain series to Bars I can only format them as stacked bars, when I'd prefer to have side-by-side. Anyone know of a way around either of these difficulties?
