Combo Box expressions... Please help!

Will anyone help with a explanation on how I can set up a expression to filter data in a combo Box?

I have a form "frmallocation" which has a combo box used to display data from a table of materials. I do not want to display records in the list if one of the fields "quantity" is equal to zero. The expression I use is the following in the validation rule property:

[materials]![Quantity] >0

Why does this not work???

What is the Rowsource of the combo box you currently have?

Try this..

SELECT [materials].[Material_ID], [materials].[Material_name], [materials].[Quantity] FROM materials WHERE [materials].[Quantity] > 0 ORDER BY [Material_name];
