combo box problems

Hi,
I have a db with four combo boxes, three individual cbo's using one to filter their contents. My problem is that when a complete record is made and I move to input the second module data the first row's selection is present. I feel sure this should be avoided as mistakes could be made.

Can anyone help?

Do you have these combo boxes at the table level? Even though Access has the capability of having lookup fields (combo & list boxes) at the table level, it is generally not recommended to use them because they can cause problems similar to what you describe. It is better to use the combo and list boxes at the form level.
