Hi,

Just trying to create a database in Access 2000. Have a problem with my reports. I have a table called Contacts and this has a field which is a restricted combo box with three values - work, friends and family. What I want to be able to do is have a report that lists all of them (which I have done) but I want it to total the number of work contacts, number of friends and number of family at the end of the report. I don't know how to sum them up. Please help - getting a bit frustrated with it now.

Also any ideas on how to produce a report which just displays work contacts? Not very good with these combo boxes! :)

All help appreciated.

Bob.

The report groupings is where you need to break the report into the sections from the combo box.

If you want just one value from the combo then filter the query by that one value.

Post the db if the above is not clear!
