I created a table with 1 field named "Links" (format: hyperlink). In this field I entered a few hyperlinks (objects in database, such as forms and reports).
In a form i have created a combobox for the above table. 1st problem: The combo displays only the "full path" of the hyperlink, and not the short description i've given it. 2nd problem: the combo opens and displays the links, but when i select a link from the list, it closes the drop list and displays the selected link, but then i must click on that link again (inside the combo) before it follows the link. (this sounds confusing even to me
) I want the combo box to diplay the list when i click the arrow, and when i select an item from that list it must follow that link immediately. What i'm actually trying to do is to use a combo box on all my forms to offer the user quick access to other forms and reports. Please help me, as i am new to MS Access (2000).
