combo box

I posted this on another board hopefully someone can help me here. I want to search for item in a table by selecting values in more than 1 combo box. once I select somthing from either both combo boxes or dont select at all I want it to search accordingly. As of right now I can only search for one value and that works fine but as soon as I start to search with a second combo box I get strange results. I think I could figure this problem out on my own If someone could help me figure out how to save a Combo box with no value or a default value in the combo box when the page loads. If anyone has any ideas at all let me know. Thanks
