i can add record sucessfully... but cant view it accordingly wen i press navigate buttons in the form...

Hello eibooo.. Your description is very vague.. More information like.. What exactly are you trying to do? Which Form is the problematic? what combo filter? What have you done so far to overcome this problem? What do you wish to see?

Form Name: frmEnter

i have created a query for each combo to filter another...

i can add records with no problem... records are saved in tblEnter nd tblSubenter correctly...

wen i open the frmEnter and navigate records some of the combos dnt display the saved value in the table...

i have no idea wat m doing wrong:banghead:

hope i have explained well... and i have attached DB so tht anyone can help me to fix this...

i want to user to select the correct fare using 4 combo boxes below...

combo1 - cidcbo - tblcustomers

combo2- adultcbo - adult query

combo3 - sectorcbo - sector query

combo4 - farecbo - fare query

user has to select a customer first(cidcbo)

then adultcbo will list all fares that are in tblfare with the selected customer(cidcbo) grouped by adult...

after that the sectorcbo will list all the sectors with above 2 combo values grouped by sectors

then finally farecbo will list all the fares of above 3 selected cbo values...

found THE problem... BUT dont know how to fix it...

Records can be viewed correctly if i change combo width to 2;2 (before it was 0;2)...

so if i hide bound column it wont show the records

how to correct this????

I am still unable to Follow you.. The Form Enter has a SubForm, why? In simple English.. Explain what is the use of this system, what is that you would like to see, why have you chosen to implement this Main Form SubForm system..

frmenter is used to enter Customer Details and Discount Authority details...

frmsubEnter is used to enter passenger Details... (each pax can travel different sectors)

m creating this DB to issue Airline ticket discounts...

m facing only one problem...

combo value is not showing, but the records are saved correctly in both tables(tblenter and tblsubenter)

it works fine if i change the combo width from 0;2 to 2;2 but then it will not show the TEXT instead it will show the ID number of the selected value...

hope i have explained weill...

I am really sorry I cannot be of help.. but I guess there is some problem at Design level.. You might want to see a sample Data Model of Airline management..

just wanted to know why the combo box is not showing the record properly...

this DB will only RECORD discounts given to special customers...(this is not a airline reservation DB)
