Combo Look For Existing Record, If No Match, Create New

Hello guys! I have been trying to find some working code for what I need to do. I have a form that opens at a new record right now. What I want to acomplish is when someone selects from the drop down a value, I want the form to search for an existing record in a table, if that record exists, I want that record to load with all the current values. If that record is not found, I want it to create a new one. Any ideas?

What do you mean no luck. Need to be more specific. I left my crystal ball at home and can't read your thoughts today. The video showed how to lookup specific records. You need to adapt the code slightly with an IF then statement to indicate that if no record is found to open a new record. What did you do? Did you try writing some code after seeing the video. What did you write? What were the results? Help us by telling us what you have done.
