combo to filter overwriting records

Hi.
I have a form with Address details. There is a choice of Home Address and Work Address (from Address Type table).

When I select Work Address in my combo, it filters the form so that only Work Addresses appear.
When I select Home Address, only Home Addresses appear.

Problem:

If I have a Home Address entered, and navigate to the next user without moving the Combo back onto Work Address, it deletes the next Home Address record.

However, if I select Work Address before I move on, everything works fine.

Any idea why this is happening?

I guess your AddressType combo is bound. This causes the problem. Just remove the control source of the combo out.
