Is it possible to manipulate the command button icons that come as the standard choices for a command button? And are there more than the standard list you get when you use the picture builder?

Thanks for any input...

You can download or create your own icons/bitmaps and browse for them. Be warned though, Access does not like graphics

Button icon/image

Right. The problem I found with that is I could not get a transparent background to be transparent on the button. A fellow also suggested using an image as the button which was a good suggestion and I have done before.

The problem is I already use the camera icon for a button to list images, but I would like to put the yellow light to indicate a "New Image". I just don't know where, or if it is possible to open and edit that image like one might on a toolbar image.

I also didn't know with the Dev Ed. if there are more picture builder images available for command buttons.

Do you know if there are or you can edit the existing ones?

Thanks for any input.

I suggest that you use (create) icons for your command button images. There are freeware programs that you can download that will allow you to alter (create) an icon and you can also set the background of the icon as transparent.

Check out NoNags.com for some great freeware programs.

Icons

ghudson,
Thank you so much. That is exactly what I needed. I found a real simple and inexpensive icon maker that did just what I needed.

Thanks a million,
