Command to close the cd/dvd drive AND reload ejected USB device

Hi all,

Anybody know these two things
1) Suppose I have done burning of a cd/DVD from nero..after that it will eject the cd/DVD..now can I close the cd drive by command (Not manually)? what is the RUN command for it?
Note: In my system (XP) I don't have "Load" option in right click of the drive.(even how to get this..?)
2) I have USB device (80GB) and if I have safely removed from tray icon..then how to reload it (Not manually)?
Any Idea?

In the similar fashion will you help me to reload the ejected USB drive to reload.(not manually)..is it possible?
