Question Compact Options

under the MS Access options there is a setting to Compact the database. Does this setting option work the same way as if you manually click on the "compact & repair" button?

Yes it does, but does it when a person closes the database automagicaly

No it wont not assuming the database is corrupt to start with... but if the database is corrupt to start with you cant use the button either... So in that sence it is exactly the same as well.
