Hi All,

Sorry to bring this one up again, this time a have attached a sample of what I’m trying to do. It is a much stripped down version so most of it doesn’t work but ignore this, what you need to see works.

I would very much appreciate if someone could have a look at this as I am stuck, stuck, stuck. I promise I have had a real red hot go at this but have floundered.

The attached sample: The database is for agricultural chemical records so basically blocks to spray are selected in a spray event then chemicals are selected for application to these blocks. The chemical mix can be modified for each listed block within a spray event.

In forms open the form called ChemDiaryFRM (please don’t laugh at the structure I new nothing when I started building it). This form shows where the blocks and chems are added, by clicking on a block you will see its chemicals, I have made some different.

What I want to do:

If you have a look at the reports you will see two reports, one called …- long version the other called …- short version. What I want to do is get a report that is a blend of these ie so if the chems for a block are the same, the chems are only listed once under a grouping of those blocks. Any chem. mixes that are different will be listed separately under their blocks.

There is a report called “My attempt so far” which is …my attempt so far. I think I’m on the right track but …probably not…I would really appreciate any ideas/comments on how to do this.

Basically my clients like the short version…because its short…but its not accurate if they modify chem. mixes within a spray event.

Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou, Thankyou,

Rach

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone has had any thoughts on this problem. I still haven't managed to work it out. Any ideas at all would be very helpful, even clues to starting points.

Thanks,

Rachael
