Comparing and calculating

Hello all,

I would like to produce a variance field on my report.

Basically this field should show the difference between two numbers - sometimes the number will be + (plus) or - (minus).

I'm wondering how to go about this? For example:

Jan number: 10
Feb number: 5
Variance = -5

or

Jan number : 10
Feb number : 15
Variance = +5

or

Jan number : 10
Feb number : 10
Variance = 0

How might I do this?
