Hello,

i have a database for dog competion. they are getting a sore and time. the highest sore wins but if there is a equal sore the fastes wins.

I had already somting but is get a error invalid use of null.

SELECT a.RallyKlasnaam, a.Exhibitor, a.Rallydognr, a.Score, a.Time, Round(CDbl(a.[Score]+(1-a.[Time])),5) AS Points, Count(*) AS Rank
FROM TBL08_Rally AS a INNER JOIN TBL08_Rally AS b ON (Round(CDbl(a.[Score]+(1-a.[Time])),5)<=Round(CDbl(b.[Score]+(1-b.[Time])),5)) AND (a.RallyKlasnaam = b.RallyKlasnaam)
GROUP BY a.RallyKlasnaam, a.Exhibitor, a.Rallydognr, a.Score, a.Time
ORDER BY a.RallyKlasnaam, a.Score;

But i what to filter "RallyKlasnaam" and another one " Date".
What must i do??

Be more clear in what you are asking for. You've posted 3 different issues and I don't know what you are asking with that question.

1. Do you want help in achieving your goal? (i have a database for dog competion. they are getting a sore and time. the highest sore wins but if there is a equal sore the fastes wins.)

2. Help with the null error? (I had already somting but is get a error invalid use of null.)

3. Help with your filter? (But i what to filter "RallyKlasnaam" and another one " Date".)

Sorry for the late response.

1. With the SQL code i have my results there is not the problem
2. the null error, it's because TBL has a lot of empty cells that why i get the null error.
3. I made a make TBL query with only a speciafik RallyKlasnaam and date. so i resolve 2 and 3.
My main question is now. how can i save the rank what is made bij de SQL Code. I need the rank and score and some more data of all the dogs in one sheet. So you get more first places in one report after each other. make this sense.
