Conditional format in report does not display

My grouped report simply needs one of the group total fields to have a specific font and backcolor depending on its value (less than 4 = yellow w/black font, 4 - 5 = green w/black font, greater than 5 = blue w/white font). It is working, but it doesn't display and print. You only see the color when you click on a specific field in Report view. I want it to print with the colors.

1. What is the name of the field?
2. What is the name of the textbox bound to the field?
3. What version of Access are you using?

Version is Access 2007. The (detail) field is ytd_act, and the NAME of the field I want to format is AccessTotalsytd_act. The Control source is =Avg([ytd_act]).

Did you use AccessTotalsytd_act in the Conditional Formatting?

Can you show me how you wrote your CF.

Yes, that is the field with the CF. 3 attachments. First is CF screen. Next shows report results indicating the YTD Actual field where I have the CF on the group totals (pointer). Last is the REPORT VIEW of the report showing where I clicked on a total field and the color appears.

Does it work correctly in Preview mode and in Print mode?

Report view does not run code and other features so that might be the problem.

No, it doesn't show the colors in any view - only Report View when you click on the field. Attached is a pared-down db.

Conditional Formatting is an exception in Report View. It runs fine in that view.

Your controls were corrupt and were'nt responding to CF.

Re-create all the controls in that section and CF should work.

I see that I have the Back style as Transparent instead of Normal - as in your db. That fixed it! Thank you so much going through all of these steps for me! Much appreciated
