I have two forms each having one common field (aircraft #). In Form A there is a list of all the aircraft in the squadron (100, 101, 102...). In Form B is the daily schedule for each of them to fly (sometimes multiple times in a day). Relationship built through a lookup of aircraft from Form A to be used in Form B. I have a Yes/No field on Form B if the aircraft is airborne. I want to change the color of the aircraft field to blue on Form A when the airborne box is checked Yes on Form B.

Furthermore the same aircraft may be used often in one day on Form B...so there may be a couple times it shows Yes for airborne from a previous flight. I also have a Yes/No on Form B for 'Land' that is checked after the aircraft lands...that may need to be incorporated in this to answer the mail.

Is there anyway to set up a conditional formatting on Form A that looks at Form B 'airborne' and if checked Yes then it will change the color of the background considering there are multiple uses of that aircraft in one day and I am really just concerned with the latest use. Perhaps I need another prioritized conditional format to turn the color back to nothing if Land and Airborne are checked? This is crushing me. Very new to this and teaching myself. Appreciate any help and hope I did not confuse you. Thanks.

yes, it can be done.

You'll need to explain a bit more about your subforms - if you have a tick box, presumably this is updating a table? If so, then you need to modify your recordsource in formA to include a reference to the updated record(s) and then in the formB form afterupdate event you need to requery or refresh formA - that code would be something like

Code:
parent.formA.requery
