|I have a subform, i would like to create a textfield or a label that will only appear if a certain condition is met.

In this case I'd like it to appear when there are less than 6 months remaining on a contract.

Could anyone please help me!?

Thanks, Lee:)

Newer versions of Access have Conditional Formatting [I run A2k2, but don't use CF much] which should allow you to enter an expression for the conition, and set formatting options to get what you need. In older versions, I can't say...

Visibility, not formatting.

Pharcyde, on the subform's Current event evaluate the necessary control bound to the specific date field you want. User the DateDiff function to determine the difference (in months) between the date in that field and today's Date. If it's 6 or less then make it visible.

Once again, Mile is absolutely correct. I stand humbly corrected. :o
