confirmation dialogs are not coming up

Hey

I have a very weird problem

All of a sudden, none of the confirmation messages are coming up, like "Are you sure you want to delete this record?".

Not only that, but let's say I make a new query, and then, before I give it a name, I close it, instead of asking me if I want to save it, it just right away gives me the box where to put the query name to save it.

Or if I'm making a query and giving it a name that another query already has, it just replaces it without even asking me.

And it's like that everywhere, no messages whatsoever.

And no, I don't have setwarnings set to NO or FALSE anywhere, I checked.

Any ideas??

And I forgot to add, it doesn't ask whether to save changes or not, but it does save them, whether I want it or not.

And it deletes records without confirming.

So basically, everywhere it assumes that I say YES

Lala,

Go to tools > options > Edit/Find and in the box titled 'Confirm' ensure that all three options are ticked.

If they are not, then it will not confirm.

If this isn't the problem (i.e. they are already all ticked) then i'm not sure I can help.

I don't know what it was, but the good old rebooting solved it.
