Connect cash drawer to computer

I have a cash drawer with a RJ11 plug

How do I:
1. Connect it to a computer
2. What command do I issue to open the drawer?

Have you tried to find the manual for the cash drawer to see what that RJ11 plug is used for? The next question, does your computer have an old fashioned serial port? You may have to investigate whether a USB adapter can be used.
