connect remotce or local

Hi,

I have one specific problem witch connect to DB on mysql server.

I have startup screen where i choose connect to mysql DB local/remote.
But I want any table will read from remote DB or local DB.

How can I do this?

I keep two versions of database one Networked and a second Local. The datasets are different and I would to make it abundantly clear they are using a local database. A subsiduary files exists Local_Settings to manage the image locations. If you're not connected to the server, images also have to local.
