Hi all,
Totally new to all of this carry on so please excuse my ignorance.
I have successfully migrated my access database to MS SQL server 2008 and it works quite well.
However, I have done this on the remote server and when I copy the access file over to the desktop, I can't connect to MSSQL anymore.
A colleague did something on the command line and said that my desktop knows the server connection is there.
I have gone into administrative tools in the control panel, played around with file DSN a bit and still - it says when I hit the test connection button that it was successful but I don't know how to tell access to use that connection.
I can't even open my access files on the desktop anymore as it wants to connect to the database----and can't.
Any help would be super.
Peace and love!
