When there's no data your subreport can Shrink. Set the Can Grow and Can Shrink properties of the Subform control to Yes.

By the way, is there a subreport in that blank space? How many subreports do you have on your main report?

Thanks for the reply vbaInet.. I try to set the Can Grow and Can Shrink properties of the Subform control to Yes, But it doesn't work...

No, it doesn't have..my report only contains one subreport...

Pardon me for the late reply!!!:D

So where's that blank space coming from? I suspect your Page Footer section is what is causing the blank space.

I don't know vbaInet...I will attach my stripped accdb when I get back home so that you could take a look with it. if that's OK to you.:D

Thanks.. Ok! Here's my Stripped accdb...Type this on the parameter value required (Student ID number = 110529) of the report..Just play with my accdb..:)

Thanks in Advance vbaInet...:D

Oh!!! Sorry vbaInet.. It's 1110529

In the main report's Detail section, set the Keep Together property to No.

Also, why are you not showing each student on a new page? On the second page of the report the next student's details begins to appear which is wrong.

Uhmm..Actually the report is only for one Student to appear every time the user wants to view the report so that if he/she wants to print it there's no need to set what page he/she wanted to print...

I have put a textbox on the page footer of the report named REMARKS that will indicate if the report has 1 or more pages... So, if the report's page is only 1 the REMARKS will be "Nothing Follows", if it has 2 or more pages, the REMARKS on the first or second page must be "Continued on next page" and on the last page the REMARKS will be "Nothing Follows"...Can you help me with this vbaInet?:D

Just check against Me.Page and Me.Pages.

And if it's for one student don't use LIKE, use = in the Record Source.

Found it... Looks like I'm too dependent...

In the Page Footer, put a textbox and set the Control Source to
Code:
=[Page] & " of " & [Pages]

In your label textbox you can do:
Code:
=IIF([Page] = [Pages], "Nothing Follows", "Continued on next page")
If I were you I will just show "Page 1 of X" only.

Thank you very much vbaInet!!!

If I were you I will just show "Page 1 of X" only.

I agree... But, they want me to do the other way, I have to follow the one who told me to make the database unless I will not get paid.:D

Having fun of making simple things into a complicated one!!!

That's the best thing of being a programmer even for a freshman like me..Getting paid for the job
