I have a 2 continuous subforms on a form, subform 1 is linked to the main form and subform 2 is linked to subform 1. All working fine. However I have noticed that it can be quite difficult to tell what record in subform 1 relates to the records you are viewing in subfrom 2. I was looking to create a coloured box or something that was made visible when you are on the current record in subform 1.

Sounds easy but i've tried various things but can seem to be able distinguish between records on the continuous form. When I try anything the coloured box appears for all records in the subform. Does anyone know of a way that I could do this? I hope I have explained myself clearly.

I'm having the same problem right now.

All of the iterations of the continuous form have the same controls. Unless they are bound to a control source, I cannot figure out how to make Access treat treat the controls on each iteration individually.

Example: there is a checkbox control on a continuous form that is not associated with a control source. Clicking it puts a checkmark in all that control for all iterations of the form.

My question, which should also prove useful to the Access Virgin, is how to uniquely identify these controls or how to make them behave indepently, aside from using their control source property.
