Control and Label Same Height

I have a control that CanGrow. When it grows, I also need the caption to grow to the same height. Tried programmatically doing it, but the Format event fires before the control is grown, and the Print event is too late to resize labels. There appears to be nowhere to slip it in programatically. Is there any way to get around this?

Mike,

I take it that you want the borders to be the same height.

You could putthe label on top of a textbox. The textbox has the same
dimensions as your current textbox, has CanGrow/CanShrink, has a solid
border, and it displays "white on white" (you can't see the text, because
you're only using it for its border).

Failing that, you can do some work with a query. I put an example in
the Sample DB section here for consistent height controls in reports.

Thanks. That's actually what I ended up doing. Just wanted to ensure I wasn't missing a more elegant solution.
