Morning All,
i have 300+ plus records showing on a list box.
in order to speed up the display of the list box and indeed the form page, i would like to display the first 25 records only, then have page selectors via buttons to display the records 26 - 50, then 51 - 75 and so on.
would some kind person point me in the direction or an example location where i can learn how to develop this.
Many Thanks
Roos

I generally use an unbound listbox. I set the row source type to value list then I dynamicly create the rowsource for the listbox from a recordset. You could just put a counter on the loop that creates the rowsource and have it stop after 25 rows. If all the data doesn't fit well I show only the most useful fields. loads very fast. Then a double click on a particular line brings up another form that allows that one record to be viewed in detail or edited.

i thought about a loop aor using the TOP function, but i am not sure how i go about recalling the 2t6th - 50 th rcords and so on
