I wasn't sure how to title this, but here is what I was trying to do:
Let's say you have a form with 5 fields. The query behind the form has 10 fields. One of the fields in the forms is either a Y or N representing if the invoice has been paid. Is it possible for the ControlTip Text to popup when you put your cursor over the YorN and show the invoice paid date?

I realize the easy solution would be to add the field but I can't because there is not enough room, and it wouldn't be used much anyway.

PS. I searched for controltip text and couldn't find any answers or questions regarding this.

Thanks,
Randy

Rich,
Thanks for the suggestion but here are my two issues:
1. My form is embedded into the main form so it won't show up in the caption.
2. I am using a continuous form and I think the users would be confused if it did show up in the caption.

I was thinking about using a mousemove event to unhide a hidden field that would contain the date. When they move away, it would hide it again.

Thanks again for the suggestion,
Randy
