Conversion to Access 2002

Hi all.

We're currently undergoing a conversion to Office XP, and I've got to test the conversion of an Access 97 database to 2002. I'm experiencing constant problems with this. The problems basically revolve around the security settings for the database. Is anyone aware of some MS protocol for converting secure databases - or better still, has anyone actually converted a secure database themselves? I've been working on this on and off for some time now, and it's beginning to get ridiculous.

Most of the time I have had problems when I was logging in as a user that was not the "owner" of the database.

Morning all.

After much arsing around, I have managed to convert my '97 database to 2002 without resorting to the step of importing all the objects into a new database. However, a problem remains;

When I try to examine the current User & Group permissions settings in the 2002 database, I receive the error message

Record(s) cannot be read; no read permissions on 'MSysAccounts'

I can't find this object anywhere - even though my view settings include all hidden objects. Any suggestions?
