I can't quite get the second part of my expression to work..... I am trying to take a date field, ex. 1/1/44, and update the column with a CCYYMMDD format. Here's what I got so far:

CCYYMMDD: Right([Dob],4) & Left$([dob],InStr(1,[dob],"/")-1) & Mid$([dob],HELP with MID.......

Thanks in Advance,
TheRat

If date is stored as text without ", e.g 1/1/2004
Format(CDate([dob]),"yymmdd")

If date is stored as text with ", e.g "1/1/2004"
Format(CDate(Left(Right([dob],Len([dob])-1),Len([dob])-2)),"yymmdd")

What is CC?
Format(CDate([dob]),"c") <-- will return the date as a "General Date" format.

Thanks O' Great Cosmos75!

Your answer was much more simple than what I was trying to do!
