I am converting an XP/A2003 app to Win7/A2007.
EDIT: I tested some more - Could this be because of Windows 7? I do not have this problem with A2007 on XP. The colors are the same with both Access versions on XP. So could Win7 be the issue?
The problem is that in XP/A2003, I start with some fields set to enabled=False and the field box is a light grey color that matches the other fields that I have on the screen that are protected and manually set to light grey. In XP/A2003, I made the protected fields the same color as the Enabled=False fields.
When I say field, I mean the box where the data is shown - not the text that describes the field nor the actual data itself - the text colors are fine.
Opening the app in Win7/A2007, the enabled=false fields are all off white, not grey. Much closer to white and not at all the same as the light grey protected fields that I have set.
The Win7/A2007 color for the enabled=false fields is much too close to white and I do not want to change the other fields to match that.
I've found nothing to control the color for enabled=false fields, but there must be a way. I've searched for days. If anyone knows, please help me out. I don't have much A2007 experience.
