Converting My Database

I have created a database in Access 2000 and want to convert it so other users in my office who are using Access 97 can update information.

When i go to convert the database it comes up with this error message:

"The Microsoft Jet database engine stopped the process because you and another user are attempting to change the same data at the same time"

I have checked and there are no other users using the database at all.

Any ideas??

Bit of a long shot, but have you rebooted your computer to see if that changes the situation?

Tried that but same message appears.

Sounds like it might be a corrupt database.

You could try creating a new database and then importing everything from the original database into the new one.
