I'm trying to convert a access 2000 database back to Access97 for other users to use the reports. I can convert the tables and queries back to 97 but the reports do not. Is there a way around this problem? It looks like, once again Microsoft did not look at every scenerio before releasing the new version.

Tables and Queries are completely different animals from Reports, because they're just data and SQL. Ever notice you can't add code to a table or query?
If a new version was completely backwards compatable with the old, what would be the point in creating a new version of the program?
You'll have to create Access97 versions of your Reports for your Access97 front-ends. Sorry if that wasn't the answer you were looking for, but posting multiple topics about it isn't going to change it.
