Copy Form to Form

Hiya
I would like to append the current/active records on one form to another open form.
Form 1 [frmCollarDesign] (from tblMainCollar PK is [HoleID]) has some design information fields that I would like appended/copied to [frmDrillPlods] (from tblDDHEOM). This will save dataentering the information each time.
I would like a command button or the like on the CollarDesign form.
The coloured fields on the Collar form would be copied onto the Drill plod form as shown.
I was even thinking I could use the same principal used to update date using a calender control. ie double clicking in the field thus instigating a transfer. But how?

In the OnClick event of a button on frmCollarDesign...

Private Sub YourButton_Click()

    Forms!frmDrillPlods!HoleID = Me.HoleID
    Forms!frmDrillPlods!Location= Me.Location
    Forms!frmDrillPlods!Zone= Me.Zone

'etc

End Sub

for each Text field you want to transfer to frmDrillPlods.
