AUTOMATIC BACKUP FILE

I have a database that is updated every weekday, every hour. I make a copy of it end of the day so i do not lose that data so far. I wish there was was a way to make a backup copy, say end (once sometime) of the day, automatically.

I am NOT a programmer, but a simple user of ACCESS. I would appreciate any help. DK GURUNG

You don't need MS Access for this, easiest way would be to run a scheduled task using Windows.

I tried Systems tool, and it seems to work.

BUT, backup folder will take a long time (2 hours) to restore it. I ran it for a few minutes and stopped it, BECAUSE, I am not going to wait 2 hours for such a simple process (usually i just copy and paste it back up).

All i need is to make simple COPY & PASTE routine (daily).

Did i not use the system tool correctly?

Is there another way to get around it.

Thank you. DK GURUNG

The backup folder from using the system tool, will take a long time (2 hrs) to recover the file. Why would i go through that long process? No, I would not for a task that simply i can copy and paste every day. I just need to routinize it.

Did i not use the system tool correctly?

Is there a simpler Access or other ways?

Thanks. DK GURUNG
