copying tables

this may just be a simple solution it may not be so be patient if im a tad vague.

basacly i want to copy the data (im guessing my client means the tables) from one copy of a database to another, merging the files where they overlap.
i not had much chance to play with the database myself (only having maybe 20-30 mins to do this (some times saying youll do a favour isnt the best idea))
they are using Access 2003

sounds like you would simply do an append query?
