The pilot, Commander Wan Hung Low was overheard by Brize Norton control tower, saying he didn't care how bloody bad Storm Ciara was, he was going to land the damn plane! No way was he staying on the plane any longer than necessary with a load of people who had been exposed to the Coronavirus!

Well, hell. If he was that scared, he could have handed the controls to his co-pilot, taken a parachute, and left the plane.

Not sure if the Passengers had diarrhoea because of the Coronavirus or whether it was because the landing scared the s*** out of them...

I sure wouldn't want to be a passenger on the NEXT flight for that plane. I've heard they don't necessarily scrub the seats even if someone gets sick all over the seat. (We had a lawsuit in some western state over that.)

Most if not all airlines do their cleanings based on the plane's turnaround time. I.e. if they have 30 minutes between landing and takeoff they do a quick wipe down of the lavatories and grab any trash they see in the seats but that's about it. They need at least 2 hours to properly wipe down tray tables, seats, and lavatories. Overnight planes get a full cleaning with the seats and floor vacuumed, etc.
