Corrupt form

I have an access97 database and it seems that only one of the forms is somehow corrupted.
When i click on the form design button i get error "Unrecognized database format".
When i try "Repair database" i get error stating i do not have read permissions and aborts.

Unfortunately, it seems that the database must have corrupted several weeks ago as my backup dated 4 week ago is also corrupted.

Please help.

You could create a new DB then try importing all the objects, except for the corrupted form, that is if you know which form is corrupted. I would start by importing the data tables. Make sure that the data is OK. Then the queries followed by any Modules, Reports and finally Forms. Cant' guarantee it will work mind you, but a similar problem was solved on my system. I would also try to find out how it came to be corrupted. Ctl, Alt, Del is favourite here.
