I have an Access table with 220 fields in a table, there are others invloved but this is the biggie. The problem I am having is that new records added mto the database are getting corrupted (all kinds of strange fonts and the like). I am beginning to suspect that when another user is in the database that the records are not saving properly, Excel also imports the data from this table as a user needs. Could this be the problem? Is there a way to make sure that the table is locked by the first person accessing it therefore, disallowing the corruption problem? If it is locked can a user still import from access.
Or after all this do you feel the table is just to darn large.
Peace
