Count Records

I am trying in vb in a form to count the number of records where a field matches specific critera. I can do this easiely enough in a query but I am not sure how to use this number in VB.

the Dcount function is what you want to use.

If you search Dcount in the vb help, it'll explain the syntax.

There are also numerous Dcount threads in this forum that will show you example syntax.
