Crazy textboxes

Hi i hope someone can help
i have a report with a textbox and i have tried setting cangrow/shrink to every setting combination yet it just wont size properly..

im testing with a value of the same length and yet sometimes the textbox not grow (cutting off data) the next time it will grow too big (creating too much space between lines) then the next time it will be the right size then it will be too big again.. its completely random and its driving me insane. can anyone think of a setting i may have missed or anything at all??

Haven't heard of that before. Is it just one report (out of many)?

Have you tried Compact/Repair the database?

If all else fails, re-create the report.

its just the 1 report

if i have both grow/shrink to yes the first record shrinks so it cant even be seen..

Tools --> Database Utilities --> Compact/Repair
Then ZIP
Then attach

Try to change fonts and font weight. it helpd me.
